Installation Guide
Installing PromptCraft in Developer Mode
- Download the extension files (ZIP) from the button below
- Unzip the downloaded file to a location on your computer
- Open Chrome and navigate to
chrome://extensions - Enable "Developer mode" by toggling the switch in the top-right corner
- Click "Load unpacked" and select the folder where you extracted the files
- PromptCraft should now appear in your extensions list and be ready to use
Setting Up Gemini API Key
- Go to Google AI Studio and create an account if you don't have one
- Navigate to the API section and create a new API key
- Copy your newly created API key
- Click on the PromptCraft extension icon in Chrome and select "Settings"
- Paste your API key in the "Gemini API Key" field and click Save
- Your extension is now configured to work with Gemini
